Valentine's Day

Well, another year with someone yet still alone on the day.
Damn that ocean that separates us!
Still, I look forward to the day cos it is, at least for me, a day for celebrating all those we love and care for in our lives. It's not limited to just our boyfriends/girlfriends/significant others.
I do admit that I'll be buying flowers for myself this year (not because my b/f won't...he wanted to), but because I feel the need for something pretty at which to stare all day long. =p
This year, I just feel the need for flowers. I really don't want roses, but I don't seem able to find anything other than roses. >_<
I want a spring type bouquet (tulips and other early spring flowers). But we'll see what there is when I get a chance later today to search for them.
